GCINP Appreciates Contributions for Initial Establishment of A-Heart

KUALA LUMPUR, 5 Jan 2022 — GCINP deeply appreciates contributions from Nextgreen Global Berhad (Nextgreen) and CIC Group of Companies (CIC), to fund our initial efforts in establishing the Center for Autistic Education and Training (A-Heart).

The donations were presented in the attendance of DYTM Tuanku Raja Muda Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, in a short event at Perdana Kuala Lumpur City Centre, last night. Nextgreen and CIC have respectively donated RM30,000.00 and RM10,000.00 to enable GCINP prepares all necessary work in seeking and gathering financial contributions for the realisation of fully-functional A-Heart.

Managing Director of Nextgreen, Dato’ Lim Thiam Huat, and the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of CIC, Hajah Qutren Nada Ahmad, both present at the event. While GCINP was represented by the Patron, Hj. Nordin Mahamud, Chairman Dato’ Hj. Shushilil Azam Shuib, and the General Secretary Sr. Mohd Sabbri Md Yudin.

A-Heart will be built on a four-hectares waqf land entrusted to Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Perlis (MAIPs) in Kg. Behor Lalang, Perlis. It involves strategic collaborations between GCINP, MAIPs, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), and Yayasan Tuanku Syed Putra (YTSP) Perlis which is chaired by Tuanku Raja Muda Perlis.

A-Heart project is initiated a few years ago, but the progress being delayed because of insufficient funds. It is anticipated to operate by January 2023.

Nextgreen’s Managing Director, Dato’ Lim Thiam Huat, presented a mock cheque to the GCINP’s Patron, Hj. Nordin Mahamud. Also present Nextgreen’s Non-Independent Non-Executive Director, Dato’ Mohd Yusof Bin Din.

The General Secretary of GCINP, Sr. Mohd Sabbri Md Yudin, received a mock cheque from CIC’s Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Hajah Qutren Nada Ahmad.
